Selin Persentili is a Yoga Alliance registered Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga teacher, Pilates Instructor and Wellness Advocate. She received her UK based 200+ hr yoga training with world acclaimed teacher Katy Appleton, and continuing her training with International Vinyasa Flow Pioneer, Shiva Rea.  She is a meditation and mindfulness practitioner, trained with Chris Tompkins. She trained as a Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor with Balanced Body University, Baps with Taha Erpulat. Her love of studying the mind, body, spirit had started during University years, taking courses on kinesiology, Alexander Technique alignment, and training as an aerobic instructor. She continues to deepen her studies with countless workshops and retreats on Yoga, Pilates, Anatomy, Nutrition, wellness with many other worldwide yoga masters, spiritual leaders and scholars in psychology.

As a wellness Advocate, she is also training as a health coach and writes for UK-based ‘We are Health Bloggers’ community. 

Selin comes into the ‘Wellness’ world from an intensive 14+ years of corporate background as a global brand consultant living across world hubs: New York, London and Abu Dhabi - hence has a strong understanding of the stress induced corporate work life, and always living on the go. She believes Yoga and Pilates are natural complements to each other and great for strong physical as well as a blissful mental health. For Selin, Human Anatomy is a grounding miracle, and breath of yoga is the best step to creating a well-balanced lifestyle.

 She can be found via private sessions in Istanbul and London, and started group sessions on Yoga Fundamentals at Soho House and Cihangir Yoga.

I want to start to share an overview - the basic meanings behind some of the language/words and  support you in getting acquainted with them.
