In this, the “iron age,” the age of destruction, the Kali yuga, how do we find the courage to be open and receptive in our hearts? The journey of the peaceful warrior, Shantā Vira begins when we recognize the divine within!" Shanta Vira Yoga as taught by Michael j. Stewart is a sadhana that allows access to our essential nature as divine beings. In this progressive practice series you will be lead through a dynamic yoga practice using all the elements of Hatha Yoga; Asana, Pranayama, Bandas and include elements from Tantric sadhana; Deva, Mantra, and Mudras. This entire experience will take you from annamaya to anandamaya kosha while invigorating the chakras with pulsations of divine bliss.
This practice is the first warm-up part of the whole Shanta Vira Yoga series. You can either practice this sequence to prepare your body for the second serie, or, you can practice this sequence individually as it has all the qualities of a well rounded practice. - As the sequence includes pranayama, mudra and mantra practices, for the ease of the practice please refer related videos of Michael.
